Hi guys, this is the last day of 2020. 2020 has been a year hasnโt it. 2021 is not necessarily going to be off to a great start as Iโm going back to online school due to the fact of rising COVID cases where I live. 2020 has changed me a lot. Before covid, I always took it for granted that I could go to the bookshop. That the news wouldnโt always be filled with how many people died. That I could see my cousins. Itโs opened my eyes to what the world could be. The world I never wanted to know. The world where people who had so many years left to live, died because of this world. Itโs not fair on them and itโs not fair on their families. Itโs not fair on anyone.
My new years resolutions:
- Get better at Spanish.
- Try new hairstyles. (This one is a bit weird but I really want to try new hairstyles. I stick to hair down, hair in a plait or hair in a ponytail.)
- Try and put 2020 behind me and focus on 2021.
So what we all need to remember is 2021 is not about forgetting 2020. Itโs not about forgetting all the people that died of Covid or all the people who lost their jobs because of it or any one who was affected by it. However it is about trying to make up for what was lost in 2020. 2020 will be a year we will remember for the rest of our lives.
Happy new year
